Healthy skin doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean flawless skin; it can have visible pores and imperfections.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The first rule of maintaining our skin health is a healthy diet, and here are some things to keep in mind:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We need to have a sufficient amount of &#8216;antioxidant-rich&#8217; foods in our diet, which have been scientifically proven to repair cell damage and delay aging.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The most important sources of antioxidants in our diet are polyphenols, carotenoids like beta-carotene and lycopene (precursors of Vitamin A), Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Selenium.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>In summary;<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Tomatoes and grapefruits are powerful antioxidants due to their high content of lycopene.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Yellow, orange, red, and green vegetables and fruits (such as broccoli, carrots, spinach, peppers, pumpkin, peach, apricot) are rich in beta-carotene.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Green tea and whole grains are high in flavonoids.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Avocado is rich in Vitamins C and E.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts are high in antioxidants like selenium and Vitamin E.
