Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), also known as thrombocyte-rich plasma, is the separation of the enriched portion of growth factors from an individual’s blood and injecting this valuable plasma into problematic areas (such as hair, face, skin…).

Platelets, which are blood cells, contain “growth factors” necessary for repairing damaged tissues and restoring them to their natural state. If there is any damage to our tissues, these blood cells come to the damaged tissue and initiate the repair process. In PRP therapy, a larger number of cells accumulate in the damaged tissue than would under normal circumstances, thus starting the repair process quickly and strongly.

How is PRP applied?

For treatment, about 5-10 cc of blood is drawn from the patient. It is then centrifuged in a special tube. As a result of this process, the plasma contains a higher amount of platelets than normal. This platelet-enriched plasma is given to the same person through injection.
Since the individual’s own blood product is used, there are no allergic reactions. The treatment is typically done in 3-4 sessions with a 4-week interval between each session.

The most important aspect of the procedure is to have the injections done in a sterile environment by trusted professionals!

Diseases for which the success of PRP treatment has been proven through scientific studies

Hair loss (Telogen Effluvium, Androgenic Alopecia)

Alopecia Areata (Alopecia Areata)

Acne scars

Wound and burn healing

For anti-aging purposes

PRP for Hair Loss

It’s the plasma portion of the blood rich in growth factors that stimulates hair follicles and increases their nourishment.

It stimulates new hair growth.

It thickens existing but thinning hair.

Combining with mesotherapy yields more successful results in hair loss treatments.

PRP on the Skin

It improves skin quality and brightness, and is effective for fine wrinkles.

It accelerates wound healing.

By stimulating collagen production under the skin, it improves acne scars.

It has been found quite successful in treating acne scars, wounds, and burns.

Full-face anti-aging applications are also available.
