Manage stress! Our skin is one of the first organs affected during anxiety and stress situations. While stress is a significant risk factor in skin disorders, existing skin lesions can also intensify stress, leading to a vicious cycle.

  • Some dermatoses (skin disorders) triggered by stress
  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Eczemas
  • Alopecia areata
  • Urticaria
  • Vitiligo
  • Psoriasis
  • Lichen disease
  • Onychotrichomania (nail-hair pulling)
  • Onychophagia (hair-nail biting)
  • Telogen effluvium (hair loss)
  • Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Stress is inevitable in life. However, there are certainly ways to reduce it.

Some of the most important ways in my opinion:

  • Getting enough sleep
  • Allocating time for yourself and engaging in activities you love
  • Positive thinking and gratitude
